Okay, third time lucky! If this isn't enough for the BBC I dunno what is.
In retrospect this is probably not one of the best episodes due to my having picked songs that were by and large quite accurate... Though my pedantry knows no bounds, and I shall do what is necessary to achieve peak nerdiness.
Making this video has taught me just how immensely stingy the BBC can be with their copyright - they've blocked two previous versions of this video worldwide. The most recent occasion was over a year after it was first uploaded, up until which point the Beeb seemed happy enough to just run ads on it. I personally think this is bullshit, but I complied anyway because I can't be dealing with YouTube's claim system and the possibility of my channel being closed.
Despite being the "2.1" version, this is technically the fourth version of this video. I fucked up the editing in the short-lived third version (2.0), so this fourth version is edited properly and has large segments of the Kings & Queens song that didn't have any inaccuracies in removed, to try and placate the BBC copyright hounds. No more weird speeding-up. And now that I've had this experience I don't think I'm gonna try and cover Horrible Histories again, it's just far too much hassle.
I also took the time to add in a few extra inaccuracies my eagle-eyed commenters noticed. Thanks to Matthew Vouloukos for the Peru inaccuracy, David Guthary for the "English" Kings & Queens inaccuracy and several other people for spotting that I mixed up east and west in the original.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Columbus is the capital of Ohio, there's
Montgomery, Alabama, south of Helena, Montana.
Alabama is southeast of Montana, on the exact opposite corner of the country as a matter
of fact.
Then there's Denver, Colorado, under Boise, Idaho.
Again, Denver is southeast of Boise, not directly under it.
Texas has Austin, then we go north to Massachusetts, Boston
Boston is more East, North East of Austin.
in the directly north of it.
In Albany, New York, Tallahassee, Florida, and Washington, D.C.
The District of Columbia is not a state.
Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Nashville, Tennessee.

Again, Trenton is decidedly further east of Jefferson than it is north.
You got Richmond in Virginia, South Dakota has Pierre,
Harrisburg's in Pennsylvania, and Augusta's up in Maine,
and here is Providence, Rhode Island, next to Dover, Delaware.
It's a bit of a stretch to describe Delaware and Rhode Island as being next to each other,
considering that they're three states apart, those states being New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
Concord, New Hampshire, just a quick jaunt, which is up in Vermont.
But that's only if you consider nearly two hours at least by car, according to Google, a quick jaunt.
And there's no more inaccuracies in this song, it's actually kind of accurate, so let's move on to the next one.

There's a clock for every city and a different time for all.
From Asia-
Asia is a continent and uses 11 different time zones.
Through Malaysia.
And Malaysia Standard Time is one of them.
To Peru.
Incidentally, none of those are cities either.
As anyone who's seen episode 1 will know, Malaysia and Peru are nations.
Peru and Lima also seem to be listed separately and have two different time zones.
This is incorrect, as Lima is in Peru.
Did you ever wonder why that when it's 10 o'clock in Maine?
At precisely the same moment it is 3am in Spain.
There is only a very, very short period of time when this would be correct.
Maine uses Eastern Time, which is GMT-5, so 10pm in Maine is 3am in Greenwich Mean Time,
but Spain uses Central European Time, which is GMT-1, so in Spain it would be 4am.
The difference is also pretty much the same if both nations are observing daylight savings.
During daylight savings, Maine uses Eastern Daylight Time, which is GMT-4, so 10pm in EDT is 2am GMT.
If Spain is also observing daylight savings, this means they're on Central European Summer Time, which is GMT-2,
meaning 10am EDT is again 4am Central European Summer Time.
However, the switchover dates for daylight savings time in Maine and Europe are different,
so there is a very short time during which IACO would actually be correct.
That time being, the few weeks during which Maine is observing EDT, but Spain is still
observing CET.
The United States switches on the second Sunday in March and switches back on the first Sunday
