York City because of theft the NYPD is
looking for several suspects in a
drugstore burglary pattern police say
these suspects were involved in eight
different incidents where they tried to
break into pharmacies by breaking their
glass doors or rolling down those heavy
security gates great just what we need a
new robbery pattern targeting pharmacies
in New York many of which are having
problems staying open with Walgreens CVS
and W Aid closing a combined 40
locations in 2024 alone leaving New York
with about half the number ofes it had
just 10 years ago before our leaders
thought it would be a good idea to stop
sending thieves to jail where they
belong we've spoken to several managers
at various drug stores around New York
City though none would go on camera all
tell us they've seen an increase in dep
millions of dollars in St seed in Queens
and put on display for the cameras
there's this huge problem that people
think that it's okay to steal

think that there's like a huge
difference between somebody stealing
like diapers and somebody
stealing
um like fake
eyelashes I do I think it's it's totally

yeah no what about piracy piracy isn't
good but there's no Zero Sum environment
like theoretically everybody could have
a copy of um I don't know uh Gladiator
and it wouldn't affect anybody's copy of
gladiator so it's totally different
situation piracy is totally
different the thieves had an eye for
Cosmetics beauty products designer
clothing and accessories yeah we're not
talking about stealing like milk and and
diapers baby formula shoplifting
concerns are part of a growing Trend in
