Anyhow, greetings to one and all.
May this uh conversation
or exposition of scripture be some
theologizing as well and appeals to
logic. Well, the theme of uh the present
discussion is predestination or God's
predestination.
Some things or all things
or I can put it God's decree does it
embrace all things or just some things?
God's decree i.e. predestinating all
things or for coordinating there's
differences cementing differences but
nevertheless you understand what's uh
all about predestination does it
actually encompass all of the events
even the smallest or there's just some
things that are left out of the council
of God and so that they occur sort of by
chance
and of course my thesis my uh intent is
to show
uh that um of course God's decree is
comprehensive. It embraces all things.
It permeates all things. It guides all
things unto the appointed end. There's
not a thing that occurs outside of God's
predestinating and governing decree. So
that would be my intention. Now I I was
just uh as I was preparing I thought to
myself this will be in a um half
comprehensive or barely comprehensive
study of something that is inherently
comprehensive i.e. that though the
decree is of course it embraces all
things
uh I will not be able
um you know to appeal to all of the
texts to explore let alone explore the
uh scriptural witness in favor of this
uh thesis that God of course
predestinates all things
unto his own glory and there's not a not
a thing that happens outside of his
uh decree or will.
So, and um
may this discussion be of course
