And I began to have a definite fellowship and partnership with the Holy Spirit.
Then I began to feel another dimension of power and anointing come upon my life.
Soon the barrier of the 3,000 membership was broken and my church
began to grow rapidly. Then again another trouble occurred. I overextended myself. One
Sunday evening, while I was preaching, I collapsed and I had a total nervous exertion. Our people
carried me by stretcher to the emergency room of the hospital. And doctor, after taking
check over me they said you have suffered complete nervous exertion you
should never go back to the ministry you would be a dead person from that time on
I was flat on my back day in day out I was crying to God father heal me heal me
father my church need a great Joe without saving the great Joe my church
is going to die. Father you need me so I've got to be healed. But God said no I'm
not going to heal you. It's a great joy, it's hindrance to my ministry.
I said, hindrance? Yes. God said, don't you read my scripture in Ephesians? That I raised up the apostles, prophets, evangelists, and teachers and pastors so that they could train and equip lay Christians so that they may build the body of Jesus Christ.
You have been monopolizing the ministry. You are neglecting your lay people. They were just warming the benches.
And you are wasting the great power for the gospel sake. So I will keep you in this condition till you really repent.
And the Holy Spirit came and I began to read the New Testament and my heart was gripped by the record of Acts.
And I said, Father, after the Pentecost, 3,000 were saved.

lay Christians such as you and I should get organized so that you may open your
home and I should give five or ten family in your church charge so that you
may counsel them pray for them and teach Bible and help them and turn that power
