goat leap was an arcade game corporation
based out of chicago illinois the
company was founded in 1927 by david
goatlib
when the company first was created the
only thing the company made were
different kind of pinball machines
these machines were basic and the only
thing that happened in the in the
machine was that the ball was shot up a
ramp and the ball fell straight down
towards the 40s and 50s goat leave made
machines with flippers
in the 60s the company would be creating
modern pinball cabinets
in 1976 goat leave was bought by
columbia pitchers
in the 1980s the company would go
through some drastic changes the first
change is that gold goat leave would
start to make arcade cabinets second
change that happened after the com after
this was that the company would be
acquired by coca-cola after coke bought
columbia pitchers
after coke bought gold leave the company
was changed to milestar electronics
in september of 1984 my star would be
closed down however a management group
controlled by gilbert g pollock would
purchase myself electronics and change
their name to prepare technology
eventually premier technology would
change his name back to goat league
in 1989 the company made the arcade
machine exterminator
would be the last cabinet the company
would ever make globally would make and
sell pinball machines until 1996. in 96
the demand for pinball machines is very
low the company did not go bankrupt
instead the owner sold all their assets
the most famous game goat leap would
make was q bird the game is still well
known today and is still popular around
the world which is why this game company
is very important
