hi guys thanks for joining me today I
went for a walk the other day and found
this awesome tree got a full face thing
going off look just like an end and I
thought I've painted in procreating so
I've got this picture of a tree and it
really struck me it's a it's got a face
in it and I wanted to capture that and
I'm thinking I'm gonna go with sort of
pastels and I'm decided to do this one
in in procreate and I'm going to use a
style that I really like doing where I
just go in with these abstract shapes
first of all and I take those abstract
shapes and we keep just keep refining
them and working them and coming up with
something that resembles hopefully
eventually resembles something a little
bit more realistic burning with quite
strong color cuz I couldn't knock all
this color back I've got a color wheel
open here I've been playing around and I
keep forgetting that I can sort of if
I'm working with collars all of a
similar tone or value I can choose the
color here and then just tap somewhere
else and I was another color but of a
similar value so I could sort of get in
a background where I'm using different
colors a lot but maybe put my blue near
the top but they've all got a similar
value because I'm not changing the
colors there at all
so I can quickly sketch in lots of
different colors all of that same value
I'm just wondering if I should have
started with a background of a different
color just to get rid of all this white
and then I can put the whites in so I
don't think he's too late to do that
I'll just finish off this bit of
foreground I want there to be I want the
tree to be well and truly secured I
still want it every now and again
procreate looks upon me I don't know why
does that I can see I'm gonna need to
invest soon
