Why do they exist?
All we have is theory and theories are good, but eventually we want to know.
You know, we just want a definitive answer.
Concrete.
Well, tonight I've got some interesting information that may help make some theories more solid.
Or just the opposite.
I don't know.
But I'm going to leave it to you guys, like normal, to make up your own mind.

Stories and legends extending as far back as the beginning of time in every major culture
tell the astonishing consistent story of gods that descended from the heavens and materialized
in bodies of flesh.
A working hypothesis is that the so-called extraterrestrials are nothing new.
Indeed, they have been with us all along.
They appear in our literature as far back as records extend.
In some of the earliest documents, we see a diverse population of strange entities being
created by the gods.
For instance, in Akkadian or Sumerian Babylonian Epic of Creation, we read of a chaos monster,
Tiamat, employing a host of oddities.
