accelerationism is a complex political
philosophy with roots in post-marxist
thought it's been adopted by groups on
both the left and right of the political
Spectrum despite arguably originating
from conservative ideas the structure of
Modern Life is intimately tied to the
capitalism train Central to
accelerationism is the belief that by
intensifying the existing problems
within capitalism or modern society we
can hasten a radical transformation into
a completely new social order however
there's no single vision of what this
new order would look like different
groups have vastly different ideas about
the ideal outcome left accelerationists
advocate for using technological
advancements to create a post-
capitalist Society where Automation and
artificial intelligence free us from the
drudgery of work they Envision a future
where technology serves the common good
reducing inequality and increasing
freedom on the other hand right
accelerationists Embrace a more
nihilistic approach they believe that
accelerating capitalism's destructive
Tendencies will lead to a new and
possibly darker form of society
scientific research medical advancements
self operating corporations and
nanofactory development all of it will
unfold very quickly it is not all about
death and destruction just for fun but
getting over it faster instead of
grinding our meat to the bones the train
of hyper capitalism cannot be stopped it
is going faster and faster and we can no
longer run at the same Pace that's also
called being edgy and edginess feels
like the fastest way to solve
uncertainty it's not about withdrawing
from the tornado but to go further to
accelerate the process it is not all
about death and destruction just for fun
but getting over it faster instead of of
grinding our meat to the bones that was
accelerationism the philosophy of going
faster don't forget to like subscribe
