aalihi wa sahbihi ajma'een.
Allahumma a'allimna ma yanfa'una wa anf'ana bima a'allamtana wa zidna a'ilman.
My brothers and sisters in Zad Academy, this is the 29th lesson of the series of Fiqh lessons
I ask Allah to bless what we say and what we hear
And to make us of those who benefit from this knowledge
And to make this knowledge a proof for us, not for us
We were standing at the pillars of prayer
And we talked about some of its pillars
And we said that one of its pillars is Qiyam
And reading Al-Fatiha
And the Takbeerah of Al-Ihram
and we also mentioned among its pillars, the bowing and the lifting of the bow.
Today we want to talk about prostration.
And there is no doubt, brothers, that prostration is a pillar of prayer.
And the commandment came with it in the Book of Allah Almighty, in His saying,
O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord.
And it came in Surah Al-Imran in the story of Mary, peace be upon her.
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
And prostration, as it was mentioned in the hadith of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them,
that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
I was commanded to prostrate on seven bones, on the forehead, and to point his hand to his nose.
This indicates that the head, including the forehead and the nose, are considered a part,
and the hands, and the knees, and the ends of the feet, and this hadith is agreed upon.
So this shows us the organs that a person prostrates on, that touch the ground when a person prostrates.
Starting from his forehead, forehead and nose, then the Prophet's reference to his nose in the Dalal of the Prophet.
So, the nose must be close to the ground.
Because some people may have their forehead close to the ground,
but they lift their nose away from the ground.
For example, someone who has his head facing the ground,
he touched his forehead to the ground, but he didn't touch his nose.
This is wrong.
In prostration, the head must be level with the ground,
So his forehead prostrates and his nose touches the ground.
Notice the expression with the hands, this means that the fingers are extended towards the qibla, touching the ground.
The knees, in the hadith, said, and the ends of the feet.
