0:25
Thank you for supporting the channel. I appreciate it. Let's take a look at the back real quick.
0:29
If you're not familiar with this set because it's the first time you've heard about it,
0:32
this is a set that is very much in its design like the Sony Z1R.
0:38
It has a large driver that is full range, which I believe is 12mm. The Sony is 16.
0:43
It's got, I believe, two balanced armatures that are linking the mids,
0:46
which is the same as the C1R, to a small 6mm driver that's taken care of the treble.
0:51
in the Sony Z1R it's a dynamic in this case it is a planar so it's a switch up a little bit with the same basic
0:58
kind of design with a metal cap and a resin shell it's got a sensitivity 105 and the
1:04
penis of what I think is 30 ohms but I can't reach Chinese but I'm pretty sure let's go ahead and take a look at
1:10
actually music before we do anything else I'll put this up when I hit the video this is everything this is a
1:16
Reset of Stone when I talk about stuff you know what I'm talking about because this is a music that I'm listening to
1:20
Let's go ahead and take a look at the graph the sub base mid base mid looks very close to my target
1:25
It's a little bit lower. That's a
1:28
I could be switched up. I turning up your volume. There's nothing there as we get to
1:33
The ear gain. It's a little bit forward and then at the top of the ear gain
1:36
It sticks up a little bit and then it goes into the cascade
1:38
This is my target with an i.e. F. comp which is the in-ear fidelity listener did so it's shout out to him
1:44
Which makes my mic which is 711 line up with his a little bit closer
1:48
So it's it's still not apples to apples, but it's a little bit closer. So again shout out to that guy
1:54
This I'll talk about because it plays out a little bit, but not really much
1:58
um, I
1:59
Guess it depends on you volume listening level. Let's talk about bass the triple drop on big boy kill Jill
2:04
Which is during the intro. It's also got a mixed-in bass guitar sounds
2:11
Three hits 38 Hertz is the lowest it sounds fine. It's not a bass headset
2:15
it doesn't hit as hard as the legato. It's much more resolving than the legato though.
2:20
A and B between noses. I did that briefly and this is on another level when it comes to technical
2:25
like getting every little bit out. This set would be way above that but the legato has a heavier
2:30
slam. This doesn't have that. The first string bass guitar, the pulls, the releases, the snaps,
2:36
the ringing of the string, which is related to the whole frequency response really to some extent.
2:42
sounds natural, there's extra energy in the air game, but it's not really impacting the ringing
2:47
portion of the bass guitar, it sounds really normal. The bottom kick drum, that sounds good,
2:57
but again like the legato or bass head stuff like I typically like, it's not quite as powerful
3:02
there, so if you're not a bass head this is probably already one step closer to you, because this
3:07
is really more warm, kind of slightly basic, but not really.
3:12
It's definitely not like the legato in that sense.
3:14
As we get into vocals, Chris Cornell doing,
3:17
um, Chinato Conner doing prints who wrote it.
3:21
And I think later performed it.
3:23
It sounds good.
3:24
The vocals sound good.
3:25
They sound nice and clear.
3:27
I'm going to talk about this in a second.
3:29
Um, Lane Staley, Rooster, MTV Unplugged.
3:32
My favorite version.
3:33
I love both versions, but that is really, really, really dope.
