I have created and sold two courses on Thinkific during the past one and a half years and right now
it is time for me to share an honest review of the platform. So in this video I'm going to talk
to you about what is Thinkific, how it works, what are its core features, what are the pros and cons,
what's the pricing and whatnot. And by the way, if you're convinced at any point on this video

And right now I have got to share a funny little story.
So I created my first online course one and a half years ago and the way I was planning
to do that was that I would shoot these videos of myself, then upload those videos into Dropbox
or Google Drive and then share a link on my website and somehow put that link behind the
pay well so basically I would get students so that people would ping me
to ask to join the course and then they would pay a certain price with PayPal
and then I would share my link. So that's how clever I was one and a half years
ago before I knew that platforms like Thinkific existed. So it's super
embarrassing for me to admit this but I'm pretty sure I can relate with at
least some of you because you might have thought of similar things as well. So now
So, what Thinkific does is that it takes all this hassle and does it on your behalf.
So Thinkific is not just a place where you will upload your course contents and then
share it with your audience, but it will take care of everything, and I mean literally everything,
that you would need for a successful course launch and course hosting.
You can set up a highly converting landing page for your course, so instead of it just
being like a google drive folder or some kind of a shared link, you will see
have an actual website to promote your course. And let me demonstrate this to you with a
concrete example. So here's one of the courses that I'm hosting on Thinkific. So this is
the landing page of the course and this is something that I built in like a couple of
minutes. So you have the program name or the course name, you have a short description
and then you have the enroll now button. If you click on this, it will land you on this
automatically generated purchase page so you can basically just sign in here and leave your card
details and complete the purchase and all I had to do to accomplish this was to set the pricing
right here. So it does everything on your behalf and when you scroll down the landing page a bit
further you also have this course curriculum section so I didn't have to lay these down here
I just basically dragged and dropped in a blog that has the course curriculum and then the Thinkific editor
automatically placed all
the lectures that I have on this course here. So you can actually preview the course contents
very neatly here in the landing page. Also you have the pricing section. This is also something
that came here automatically. So basically I spent like three minutes on setting up this page and
most of the time actually was spent on creating this kind of background image which right now I
notice is not optimal because my face looks way too big here, but whatever it is.
Yeah, but as you can see, it's very handy. You have a very basic landing page like this.
Then, oh yeah, I think I spent like five minutes on creating these FAQs here.
So yeah, it took like 10 minutes to create this kind of a landing page, but whatever.
It's very powerful, very simple. You have this name, you have the call to action,
you have the curriculum, pricing, you have some other calls to action and then you have
the FAQ.
So this is something very basic you can create with ThinkCentre.
Thinkific in just a couple of minutes.
Then Thinkific will take care of all the hassle related to payments.
So for example, you can bill your customers automatically.
So when they click enroll, Thinkific will automatically send them the invoice or basically
they will just use the Stripe integration to charge for the course.
